My bunny died overnight. She had started bleeding and was rushed into
surgery yesterday morning to fix some major internal bleeding she had
(as a result of not ever spaying her... it's not an uncommon
complication that rabbits have). She had made it through the surgery
but didn't make it through the night. I feel super guilty for letting
her die all by herself in the vet's office overnight. There was no way
for me to have known that she was getting sick because rabbits will act
completely normal when they're sick. Yesterday morning, she was still
happily jumping and doing kicks in the air. Now, she's left at the
vet's for cremation and disposal because I can't afford to take her
ashes home after the surgery costs. I feel like I've abandoned her
again.
I hadn't been able to pick her up since she was a baby because she
always ran away. Now, I was able to hold her little lifeless body
wrapped in a towel.
She was the spunkiest and feistiest little bunny. I hope she's doing lots of bunny binkies in heaven.
Rest in peace, Bunny.

Bonnie had too much fun chasing Diva so we didn't actually get any pictures of them together! Where are your eyes??? What a lion! Diva: there she is with her stuffed animal toy -- that Bonnie has chinned to death and has claimed it as her own.. So we gave it up to Bonnie, and Diva took Bonnie's chew-toy in exchange. Classic "bunny-pose"! Yay! LoL she blinked! Looks so anime-like!! Hahaha... totally ">_<"! haha. And here you see her drinking water. Though, it looks like a dog or a cat drinking water. LoL. Funny. |

Bunny's first abstract art installation I really have no idea how she managed to do that. P.S. The yellow one's resemblance to this is uncanny! All she needs are pink cheeks! |
